Parmer Oaks Dental Care is a general dentistry practice that focuses on the family. We provide many services to help you on your journey to excellent oral health. It is our goal here at Parmer Oaks Dental Care to treat the whole patient. From routine teeth cleaning to root canals, veneers, crown and bridges and emergency treatment, we hope we can provide you and your family excellent service in a relaxing environment. Our long-time staff (some who have been here since 2006!) are thrilled to get to know you.

Nicholas C. Oster, DDS

Dr. Nicholas Oster was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA, where he met his amazing wife, Ashley in the 4th grade. We were both fortunate to call one place home growing up, but it has been one crazy adventure since we started our married life and have grown our family! As a Navy dentist, my family (Wife Ashley, Son Finn, and Daughter Wren) has bounced from one coast to the other, and back again, and one thing is for certain—we are over the moon to finally call one place HOME! We got to Texas two years ago, and couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of such an incredible place. We set our roots down firmly in the Texas soil, and have become part of a community we have truly fallen in love with.

When Dr. Oster’s not in the office fixing teeth you will be sure to find him outdoors; soaking up some sun, backpacking, mountain biking, or on the water fly fishing. He looks forward to seeing you in the office or out and about adventuring in the Hill Country!

Dr. Oster graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, and began his dental career in the Navy as part of the 2nd Dental Battalion at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency serving the Marines, and volunteered as the Dental Officer of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit—in charge of the care of over 2,500 marines and sailors, on the USS Iwo Jima. For his outstanding body of work Dr. Oster was awarded the prestigious Weedon E. Osborne Award and Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. From North Carolina back to California, Dr. Oster completed his active duty at Naval Air Station Lemoore, after 12 years of serving on active duty. He continues his service as a Dental Officer in the Naval Reserve, as a Lieutenant Commander at Naval Reserve Center Austin. Dr. Oster loves to serve, and has been serving the community of Cedar Park for the last 2 years. He couldn’t be more thrilled to take over at Parmer Oaks Dental Care, and keep serving this amazing community, he has grown to know and love, and looks forward to meeting you all soon.

I started my dental career with Parmer Oaks Dental Care in 2021. I completed the Austin Dental Assistant School program in 2019 and received my Registered Dental Assistant certificate, however I found my customer service background drew me closer to the front office. There I can interact with our patients in a different way! It’s been great getting to know patients and work with such a stellar team! I love being part of a group of people who radiate positivity and truly put our patients first!

I was born in Austin and raised throughout south and central Texas. I truly believe I couldn’t ever call another place home! I now live in Taylor, TX with my boyfriend and our beautiful daughter. Outside of work, you can find the fam and I: catching the most recent Marvel film, gaming as a family, hunting for collectibles at local shops or at one of my daughter’s various sport events!

Teri Reid

I started my dental career in 1981 as a dental assistant. After several years of learning and growing in the dental field, my family and I moved to Texas where I found my niche the office manager for Parmer Oaks Dental Care in 2005.

My husband and I share a love of the Hill Country and enjoy cruising in our 1957 Cadillac and 2019 Harley Davidson Road King Special. We are both involved in serving the local veteran community and love spending time with the family.

Working for Dr. Oster and this special team of professionals has been a true gift. There are no better people than those I have come to know as the patients in this practice.

Kristie McKinnon

I have been working at Parmer Oaks Dental Care since 2006. During that time I have seen my patient’s kids grow up right before my eyes. This experience brings you closer to your patients and I consider them part of our family.

Our team is awesome and we work well together! This brings a positive and inviting atmosphere to our dental office. We want to make our patients feel at home while providing them with the highest quality of care.

I graduated in 1993 from UTHSCSA with a certificate in Dental Hygiene.

I’ve been married for over 25 years to my husband Ben and we have a beautiful daughter and two playful boxers.

My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, playing tennis,and taking as many pictures as I can of my family and the great outdoors.

I have been an RDA since 2018 and joined the Parmer Oaks Dental team in 2022. Working with Dr. Oster chairside has been an amazing experience. I found a team and office I can call home. I love working here because of the positive environment, we always laugh together and help one another! We are a team and family.

When I’m not working I love spending time with my family and making the best memories. My fiancé and I love traveling, and find ourselves enjoying road trips and finding new adventures!

I have been in the dental field since 1993. I love what I do, especially working with our patients and ensuring their comfort in our office. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Oster and appreciate his positive attitude towards our patients and staff.

I was raised in Texas, living in south Austin, George West, and have found my way to Liberty Hill. Outside of work, you can find my husband Marvin and I outside fishing, gardening, or feeding and watching the deer.

I have been a registered dental hygienist since 2004. I have met some amazing people in my career and love what I do. It has been a wonderful transition for me to join the Parmer Oaks family. This office is amazing and I could not be happier to be here. I look forward to the relationships I’ll form with my co-workers and patients.

I was born and raised in Texas and am proud to be a Texan. I love spending my free time with my family. My husband and I met when we were 17 and have been married since 1995. We have a beautiful daughter who is married to the love of her life. My daughter and her husband have blessed me with the most perfect granddaughter ever.

My absolute favorite hobby is fishing. Some may say I have an obsession. I absolutely love to fly fish but I’ll try just about any type of fishing. If I’m not fishing I’m usually thinking about it.

Ashley Oster

Business Manager

Ashley has a background as an elementary school teacher and is enjoying her role as the business manager here at the office. She enjoys working with the amazing Parmer Oaks Dental Care team along with the many wonderful patients that are part of the practice.

In her free time, Ashley loves to spend time backpacking with her family, reading and enjoying the sunshine. Her children, Finn (11) and Wren (9) are the center of her world and can be seen around the office from time to time.
